domaine de l'estagnol
Montpeyroux, which means Mont Pierreux, is on the border of two landscapes: the limestone foothills of the Causses and the alluvial plain of the Hérault.
The Domaine de l’Estagnol is located about forty kilometers northwest of Montpellier and backed by Mont Saint-Baudile, the first foothills of the Cévennes.
The vineyard is swept by the prevailing north and northwest winds from the Causses. It is not uncommon to see the Tramontane blowing in Montpeyroux while calm reigns in Gignac or Aniane, the neighboring villages
This typicality favours wines of great freshness.
